Liz Parris
- How did you get into coaching triathlon?
I had been with KTC for a few years when the club were looking to set up a Junior section for school Yrs 2-6 (it was very successful but sadly folded during the pandemic). I took my BTF Level 1 coaching to help run the club and have never looked back!
- What is your coaching philosophy?
Any session should be fun, inclusive, supportive, non-judgemental and helping you to achieve your sporting goal, no matter what that may be.
- Which aspect of coaching do you enjoy the most?
Seeing people making friends and enjoying the camaraderie in the sessions.
- Have you got a coaching highlight?
Every session provides a highlight!
- What do you do outside of KTC?
I am a wife and mother, working part-time at Macclesfield hospital. I like to take part in running or cycling events and enjoy pub quizzes, travel and catching up with friends
- Tell us something interesting/ unusual about you?
I’m learning to play the drums but don’t think I’ll be making a career out of it any time soon!
